TP Choir Chalet: 29-30 March'10
Finally having a choir chalet after a couple of un-planned ones. Met Darius, Zyndie, Janell and Hazel before heading down to Changi Village to meet up with the others. We ate our lunch there and then headed down to our Bungalow-like chalet at Biggin Hill.
It's kinda wu-lu over there as there only 3 Chalets at Biggin Hill. First thing most of us did was to climb up the hideously long flight of stairs - which was situated right in front of the main door - up to 2nd floor and put our bags down. We settled down, unpacked our food, drinks and cutleries, shifted the tables and chairs to make more space in the 'dining room' and then played games at the room upstairs.
We played 'What-if':
- All players are to write down a question and place them in the centre, it would be scrambled.
- Each player will then pick a piece and answer the question.
- Player A reads the question, and Player B answers with the answer he wrote down (which is actually the answer for Player's B question)
Yea, it was very funny when the answers and questions made sense in a funny way. But awkward when it didn't link.
We played Boggle, Murderer and Indian Poker as well.
While some of us were playing, chefs were at work too. Guys were preparing Japanese Curry, nuggets and sausages, while the girls were making sandwiches. LOL.
When it was dark outside, we took a walk to Old Changi Hospital. The main entrance was locked so we didn't go in although there was another way in. We then walked up and down the roads for some time and decided to head back to the Chalet.
And The Drama Happens
Darius:
Why is the back door open?Others feeling weird immediately dashed up and checked their bags.
Where's my wallet?
Where's my camera?
Where's my handphone?
This lasted for quite long, everyone was panicking, everyone's hearts dropped.
Hey! Whose wallet is this?
Whose camera is this?
Whose handphone is ths?
Apparently, these thieves broke into our Chalet and messed up our valuables. Wallets, cameras and handphones were placed all over the place. My handphone was found in Janell's bag.
Weird thing was, these thieves didn't take all our money, $50 notes were left un-touched, handphones, cameras too. Only certain $10 notes and MY IPOD TOUCH!
I wonder how unlucky i can get. I was the only one who lost an item. I only had it for 3 months man.
3 MONTHS! Give it back to me already.
Argh..
And anyway, we called the resort the locksmith came. He gave us two choices:
- 1.Fix the lock
- 2.Make a police report, leave the lock alone
So, if we make a police report, we can't fix the lock. That also means, we can't sleep in peace! =_=
But anyways, we decided to make a police report. And so the police came, took down our testimony, took pictures of the already-happened-crime scene. They also helped us placed sofas and tables at the door so the back door can't be open from outside.
So after a long time, the police left and we all crowded in a room (apparently, there were 4 rooms and we wanted to separate like S.A.T.B, 1 room each). We played games for awhile and rested for the day.....
What a night.
What a brilliant night we had...
